Nationwide Fire Protection Services
Range Hood CleaningFight kitchen fires before they startThe NFPA reports that over 11,000 food and drink establishments catch fire every year, resulting in an average of six deaths, 189 injuries, and over $163 million dollars in property damage. At least half of these incidents originate in the kitchen, where highly flammable grease unavoidably builds up on and around the cooking equipment. This grease, especially when it is located inside the exhaust canopy, can be very difficult to extinguish. While having a range hood fire suppression system is important, preventing fire in the first place is even better. Getting your exhaust hood and cooking equipment cleaned regularly will dramatically reduce the risk of injury and damage inside your facility.
